Dr Kamal

Dr Kamal is an Australian-qualified General Practitioner with more than 13 years of experience across both urban and rural settings. He completed his training in the Australian hospital system before entering and finishing the Australian General Practice Training Program.

He has a strong interest in Chronic Disease Management and Skin Medicine and has undertaken extensive postgraduate training to support his clinical practice. This includes a Diploma of Dermatology, postgraduate certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine, Dermoscopy and Aesthetic Medicine, and additional clinical training in the use of laser devices for skin rejuvenation, benign pigmented and vascular lesions, and skin tightening (755 nm and 1064 nm platforms).

Booking and Cancellation Policy

By booking an appointment (online, by phone, or in person) with Croydon Laser and Skin Clinic, you agree to the following terms:

  1. Booking and Confirmation All appointments must be secured with a valid credit/debit card or paid deposit (depending on the treatment). You will receive a confirmation SMS and/or email. Please check the date, time, and treatment details carefully. It is your responsibility to arrive on time with clean skin (free of fake tan, heavy makeup, or lotions unless otherwise advised). 
  2. Deposits and Pre-Payments Packages and courses must be paid in full at the first appointment or via an approved payment plan. 
  3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

    We are a small clinic and late cancellations/no-shows prevent other clients from being treated. We therefore enforce the following:

    • More than 48 hours’ notice → No charge; deposit remains as credit.
    • 24–48 hours’ notice → 50% of the treatment fee
    • Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show → 100% of the treatment fee (or forfeiture of the $50 deposit).
    • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full pre-payment for future bookings.

    Notice must be given by phone (preferred) or email. Text messages or social-media messages are not accepted as formal cancellation.

  4. Late Arrival
    • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to shorten or reschedule your treatment to avoid impacting the next client. Full fees or the late-cancellation policy will still apply.
  5. Treatment Suitability and Patch Tests
    • Laser hair removal and certain skin treatments require a complimentary consultation and patch test at least 24–48 hours prior to the first full session. 
    • If you book and pay without a prior patch test and are found unsuitable on the day, the appointment fee will be refunded or held as credit.
  6. Children and Minors
    • Clients under 18 must have written parental/guardian consent and be accompanied by an adult for the consultation and first treatment.
  7. Prices and Treatment Plans
    • All prices are displayed inclusive of GST and are subject to change without notice.
    • Package sessions expire 12 months from date of purchase unless stated otherwise.
    • Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  8. Refunds and Credits
    • No refunds for change of mind or for treatments already performed.
    • Store credit may be offered at our discretion for genuine medical or exceptional circumstances (doctor’s certificate required).
  9. Health and Safety 
    • You must disclose all relevant medical history, medications, and recent treatments. Failure to do so may void any claim and result in refusal of treatment without refund. 
    • We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if we believe it is unsafe or contraindicated. 
  10. Gift Vouchers 
    • Valid for 3 years from date of issue. 
    • Non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
